Full Cast

$

Gold has three important properties that are important to dental patients: biocompatibility, durability and pliability. Its extended reliability has made it the cast material of choice.

Within the human body, gold has excellent biocompatibility with both reduced tissue inflammation and minimal plaque growth. It acts just like a natural tooth and is gentle to opposing teeth. Gold cast crowns require less tooth reduction and do not fracture like other materials.

Oyster Dental Laboratory uses the 3Shape scanner to create the full cast gold crown design. The Neo Super Cascom computerized vacuum/pressure casting machine is used to build the crown from a detailed anatomical wax-up. Each full cast crown is finished with perfect tolerances. Dense castings are created and the precise fittings are porosity free with a high luster and a smooth surface

Night Guards

$

With any night guard, comfort and durability are often two of the most important issues. Pleasant fitting hard or soft night guards will help your patients get a better night’s rest thanks to a proper fit.

Night Guards from Oyster Dental are crafted to meet your patient’s dental specifications. There is a soft inner layer surrounded by a hard acrylic outer shell. Your patients will discover relief from the toughest bruxism issues and enjoy a healthy and comfortable night. Our Night Guards can prevent the damage to healthy dentition that nightly teeth-grinding can cause.

Full/Partial Dentures

$

Our dentures are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile.

There are two types of dentures – complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are necessary when all of the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. A partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, it prevents other teeth from shifting.

A Complete denture may be either “conventional” or “immediate.” The conventional type is made either to replace a worn set of dentures or after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed, usually taking 4 to 6 months. During this time the patient will go without teeth. Immediate dentures are made in advance and immediately placed by your dentist after the teeth are removed, thus preventing the patient from having to be without teeth during the healing process. Once the tissues shrink and heal, adjustments, a tissue conditioner (temporary reline), and a permanent reline will have to be done by your Denturist.

Dentures are very durable appliances and will last many years, but may have to be remade, repaired, or re-adjusted due to normal wear.
